Case studies and industry analysis
Objective for this module: Write your company's case study, as if it were 3 years from now.
Exercise: The task this week is to write your company's case study as if it were 3 years from now. You need to include four essential points in your story:
• Number of employees / locations
• Revenues (in 2025)
• Description of your company’s business model / product / service, and of what it has achieved over the last 3 to 5 years
• Describe your case study by responding to the following question: How do you bring into balance people, planet and profit? Be very specific, and write a list of achievements (to complete the exercise, go to the Miro Board and look for the framework for Module 5)
To write a good story you need to include more than one angle in your narrative. How do you write both sides of a story?
The table below presents feelings, spread across ten different categories. For each word that resonates with you/triggers you, think of an experience you gained by developing your business. To write both sides of a story you need to understand your feelings, yet not let your emotions dictate your decision making. Give it a try!
